William Heston

William J. Heston was born March 31, 1937, and went home to be with the Lord June 25, 2018. Bill resided at Crestview Nursing Home for the last 10 years, but grew up and lived most of his life on Ontario St. in Philadelphia. Bill had a kind and loving heart who cared deeply for his family and friends. He enjoyed reading, listening to music, whistling, praying and saying the rosary. Bill was preceded in death by his parents, William and Edna (Scioli); and his sister, Edna. Bill is survived by his godson, Bryan Heston; and many cousins, and will be sadly missed by all, especially Rose and John. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing at 9 a.m., Saturday, June 30, in Holy Innocents Church, 1337 E. Hunting Park Ave., Philadephia. Funeral Mass will begin at 10. Interment will be in New Cathedral Cemetery.
