Veronica Bowers

Veronica Rita “Ronnie” Bowers, 68, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, passed away peacefully of natural causes on November 8, 2025, in her hometown where she was born on May 29, 1957. A devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Ronnie lived a life filled with compassion, resilience, and joy. She will be remembered by all who knew her for her unwavering generosity—always willing to lend a hand, no matter her own circumstances.

Raised in the Catholic faith by her late parents, Maryann and James W. Park, Ronnie’s life was one of deep love and connection. She was mother to Charles Bowers III, Maryann Bowers, Michael Bowers, Ashley Bowers, and Kerry Ann Bowers, and is lovingly survived by eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind her siblings Maryann Dwyer, Lori Charlton, Liz Keefer, Jeanie Masterson, Geri Volz, and James W. Park. She was preceded in death by her sister, Kathleen Griffith.

Ronnie found joy in music, dancing, and puzzles, passions that kept her connected to the simple happinesses of life. Her children will honor her life in a private celebration.
