Ted Oshea

Ted O'Shea passed away on January 9, 2020 at age 95 exactly how he loved to live his life, surrounded by the family he loved so dearly and drinking his glass of Dewar's Scotch. Ted is survived by his grandchildren, Kim Blumenthal, Kristen Malak (Joe), Dianne Christopher (Erik) and he is the proud great grandfather of Michael and Adrienne Blumenthal, Ruby O'Shea Malak, and Hayden, Annalee and Virginia Christopher, and great great grandfather of Charlotte. Ted was a US Navy veteran, a PECO lineman for over 30 years, an avid golfer, and loved watching the Eagles, Temple Football, and attending Phillies Spring Training games in Clearwater Florida. Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Ted's life on Saturday January 18th from 2 PM to 4 PM at McCafferty Sweeney Slabinski Barnes Funerals and Cremations, 6126 Torresdale Avenue (valet parking on premises). Ted would want you to come dressed casually for his Irish Wake, thirsty and ready for a cold glass of your favorite drink to toast the wonderful life he lived! Please arrive anytime between 2 PM and 4 PM for refreshments, friendship, prayers, and lots of love! Just the way Ted would have wanted it!
