Shirley Lenartowicz

Shirley Phyllis (Cumberledge) Lenartowicz passed peacefully Saturday afternoon, April 18th, 2020 at the age of 85. Born February 3,1935 in Delaware County Pennsylvania to the late Pauline and Elmer Cumberledge. She was predeceased by her first husband, John S. Lawson of twenty six years, second husband, Edmund Lenartowicz of eight years, and son Charles Lawson.

Shirley was survived by her daughter Phyllis Mozitis (John), David Lawson (Millie), nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren and three fur grandchildren (she loved animals).

Shirley started her working career at Bell Telephone company many years ago and ended her career as a Certified Nursing Assistant which was her passion as she loved caring for people.

Shirley will be remembered for her witty and sassy comebacks, singing Church songs and oldies on long car rides, and for her love for her family and friends. No matter how little she may have had, she would have given her last penny if needed.

She will be forever missed by her family.



Shirleys family thanks you for all of your love and support at this very difficult time. Due to the current pandemic a memorial service to celebrate her life will be planned for a future date.
