Regina Helene Ancona

Regina Helene Ancona passed away unexpectedly at the age of 36 on March 12, 2022. Beloved and devoted mother of Charlotte Rose and Gia Judith Lakos. Dearest daughter of Thomas M. Ancona and the late Mary Ann H. Ancona (nee Madden). Regina will be terribly missed by her brother Vincent Ancona, her fiance Jason Lakos, her uncle Bill Ancona and aunt Joan Lazio as well as many cousins and friends. Regina was a beautiful person inside and out. She was one of a kind, once in a lifetime person that anyone could meet. She loved music, was an animal lover and advocate. Her smile could light up the midnight sky and change the mood in an entire room. She was a true free spirit who did things her way, if she had her mind set on something, there was no stopping her on any endeavor. Regina was very funny, she had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. Most importantly, Regina loved being a mom. She loved children, especially her daughters Charlotte and Gia. They were her world and she was so proud to be their mom. Regina is missed by so many people and her passing has left a void in all those lives that she has touched. She is at peace now and will be our guardian angel watching over us and forever living in our hearts. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing and funeral Tuesday, March 22, 2022 at 9:30am at Resurrection of Our Lord Church, Castor and Shelmire Aves., Phila., PA 19152. Her funeral mass will begin at 10:30am. Interment will follow immediately in Hillside Cemetery, Roslyn, PA. Regina absolutely loved animals. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please send a memorial contribution in Regina's name to the Women's Animal Shelter, 3839 Richlieu Rd., Bensalem, PA 19020.
