Phyllis I. Null (nee Sweeney)

Phyllis I. Null passed away peacefully June 17, 2024 surrounded by her loving family.

 Phyllis is the daughter of the late Charles and Ethel Sweeney, and was the loving and devoted wife of Courtland (Corky) who preceded her. She is survived by her sons Keith and Sean, Daughter In Law Jeannie, Grandchildren Chris, Erin, Kevin Jr, Laura, and Jessica, and her 3 Great Grandchildren and Mother to the late Kevin and Chris. She is also survived by her brothers John(Barney) and Tom, and Sister In Law to Bonnie and the late Richard (Ritchie), and her nieces and nephews.

 Phyllis was a graduate of Frankford High School (class of 1959), where she and Corky were dubbed “Nut and Bolt” in the yearbook.

Phyllis loved family camping trips and vacations to Cape May. She was a fan of Elvis, Jimmy Buffet and Jerry Garcia, loved to read, and was an avid watcher of General Hospital, Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and Phillies games with Cork, Sean and Otis (who she lavished with treats of cheesesteaks and “Mom Mom burgers” from Montessini’s). She was a huge Disney fan, taking vacations there with Cork and passing along her love to her family.

Family and Friends are invited to a celebration of her life on Saturday June 29, 2024 at Gallos Restaurant located at 8101 Roosevelt Blvd at 10:00am. Please come to share stories and memories with her family. Lunch will follow the service.
