Patricia Evangelist

Patricia Evangelist (nee Young), September 3, 1934 - July 19, 2020. Loving wife and beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend, passed away peacefully in her sleep at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her devoted husband of 66 years, Mario, and her five beloved children, Diane Grimmie (John, predeceased), Mario, Mark (Carole), Michael (Michele), and Matthew (Karen). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. As you know she loved you all. She proudly served as past president of the Women's Auxiliary Club of Simpson Playground. Relatives and friends are invited to her viewing Wednesday, July 29, 2020, from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM in St. Martin of Tours Church, 5450 E. Roosevelt Boulevard, Phila., PA 19124. (We are using the lower church, so please park on Cheltenham Avenue or in the church parking lot). Mass will begin 11 AM. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Bensalem, PA.
