Pablo Rivera Jr., age 22, of Philadelphia, died suddenly on December 30, 2025. He was the beloved son of Pablo Sr. and Gloria and cherished brother of Alex, Anthony, Angelica, Raphael, Stephanie, and Ashley. You were just stepping into adulthood, with so much life ahead of you. A loving son, brother, and uncle who would give anything to help others. You did not deserve this. You were deeply loved by so many, more than words could ever express. Until we meet again — we will see each other later. Rest in peace, Pablo Rivera Jr.
A fun-loving and generous young man, Pablo enjoyed motorcycles, cars, and spending time with his friends. He came from a big, loving family and leaves behind many relatives who will miss him deeply. Pablo touched countless lives and will be missed by his community. He attended Word of Grace Church in Wissinoming and was known for his love of candy—he always had some in his pocket to share. His final act of kindness was saving lives through organ donation through Gift of Life.
A service to honor his life will be held on Monday January 12th at 11 am with his viewing beginning 9 AM at McCafferty Sweeney Slabinski Barnes funerals and cremations 2614 Orthodox Street. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
