Michael J. Quinn, Sr.

Michael J. Quinn, Sr. passed away peacefully on December 3, 2025, in his home, surrounded by the love and comfort of his family. Michael was the devoted husband of Sue (née Tait), whose partnership and devotion were the center of his life. He was the proud and loving father of Michael Jr., Joseph, Anthony, and Jamie Tait, and the cherished Pop of Michael III, Reghan, Joseph Jr., Gavin, Ava, Naomi, Nick, and Madison. He is also survived by his brother Anthony and sister Mary, who held a lifelong bond with him.

Michael was a hardworking man who built his life around providing for and protecting the people he loved. He spent more than 35 years with the Budd Company, where his reliability, dedication, and strong work ethic earned the respect of all who worked beside him. His steady presence and commitment to his family were at the heart of everything he did.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, big heart, and the unwavering love he had for his family. His presence made every gathering better, every moment steadier, and every person around him feel cared for.

Relatives and friends are invited to celebrate Michael’s life on Saturday December 6th from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at McCafferty Sweeney Slabinski Barnes Funerals and Cremations, 2614 Orthodox Street. A funeral service will begin at 3:00 PM. Interment will be held privately.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Michael’s memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital would be deeply appreciated by his family.
