Marjorie Cook-Pappas

In loving memory of Marjorie Ann Cook-Pappas (nee Fisher), a mother, grandmother and friend who left this world peacefully on March 16, 2024, at age 84.

 She was born August 23, 1939, to Harry and Margaret Fisher.  After graduating Lincoln High School, Margie worked for AT&T as a draftsman and made herself indispensable in many other jobs over the years. 

She had four children, Thomas (Teresa), Michael (Dana), Kevin (Maureen), Stacey (Paul) and is also survived by her grandchildren, Matthew, Stephen, David, Domonick, Anthony, Nicolas, Joseph, Anthony and great grandchildren Benjamin and Tyr.

 Marjorie was a creative passionate soul who believed that you should leave things better than you found them. She was a lifelong learner, always trying to improve herself. Marjorie enjoyed cooking and baking for family and friends, was an artist and skilled equestrian. She moved to the beat of her own drum listening to the likes of AC/DC and Seether. 

Marjorie was fortunate to find love twice. She has joined James Pappas and leaves Paul Berry here with us to mourn her loss.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Saturday March 23, 2024 at Burns Funeral Home 9708 Frankford Avenue from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM followed by family Words of Remembrance at 2:30 PM.  Interment will be held privately.
