Leonard Francis Knobbs Jr, 66, passed away on Sunday, July 25, 2021.
Leonard was born on May 29, 1955, to Leonard F. Sr and Barbara J. (Zegarski) Knobbs. He was a dedicated fire fighter for the Philadelphia Fire Department for 32 years.
Leonard is survived by his wife, Mary Knobbs; children, Heather Knobbs, Jeff (Colleen) Knobbs, Lenny (Marissa) Knobbs, Jennifer Knobbs, Jimmy Cooke, Christine (Jack) Sheridan, Jennifer Cooke, Mary (Jammie) Basham; 16 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; mother, Barbara Knobbs; brothers and sisters, Raymond "Bear", Barbara, Stephen, Kathleen, Michael; many nieces and nephews, numerous cousins, and friends, and is the loving nephew of Marge and Wally Mudrick.
Leonard is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Sr, and brother, Robert.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Wednesday August 18 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM in St. Martin of Tours Church, 5450 Roosevelt Blvd., Philadelphia PA where his funeral mass will begin at 11 AM.
