McKelvey Helen T. (nee Martin) Age 88, passed away suddenly on June 11, 2022. Beloved wife of 69 years of the late Thomas J.; loving mother of Thomas J. Jr., Maureen Pomante (Joseph), Eileen Corcoran (John), Kathleen Corcoran (Joseph), Colleen Mansfield (James); cherished grandmother of 20 and great grandmother of 14; devoted daughter of the late Paul and Margaret Martin (nee Cleary); adored sister of Margaret Given; also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. Long standing member of St. Leo Parish, and active member of St. Leo Seniors. Helen proudly served the 41st Ward 6th Division as an election day poll worker for 57 years. Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing Wednesday evening June 22nd from 6 to 8 P.M. at McCAFFERTY SWEENEY SLABINSKI BARNES FUNERALS and CREMATIONS, 6126 Torresdale Ave. An additional Viewing will be held Thursday morning June 23rd from 10 to 11 A.M. at Our Lady of Consolation Church, 7056 Tulip Street. Her Funeral Mass will begin 11 A.M. and her Interment will be held 1 P.M. precisely at Washington Crossing Nat'l Cemetery.
