Donald Burrows

Donald “Don” Burrows passed away peacefully on February 13, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Beloved husband of Loretta, Don was a devoted father to Mark (Kim) and Donna. He was also lovingly remembered by Mark Stagliano (the late Doreen), Mike Stagliano (Gwen), and the late Christian. Don leaves behind many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren who brought him great pride and joy.

Don proudly served his country as a paratrooper in the United States Army, a role that reflected his courage, discipline, and deep sense of duty. He was a proud Mason, a gifted artist and sculptor, and a lifelong creative spirit. Don worked for many years as a line operator with Bell Telephone. He further pursued his passion for the arts through his studies at Temple University and as an alumnus of the Philadelphia College of Art.

Above all, Don will be remembered for his kindness, quiet strength, and the love he shared with his family and friends. His legacy lives on through the many lives he touched.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral on Saturday, February 21st, from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at McCafferty Sweeney Slabinski Barnes Funerals and Cremations, 2614 Orthodox Street, Philadelphia, PA. Military honors and a prayer service will begin at 11:00 AM. Further arrangements will be held privately.
