Diane Esposito, born on January 2, 1944, peacefully departed this life on March 17th, 2024, surrounded by loved ones. She leaves behind a legacy of love and strength that will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew her. Diane was a devoted mother to her three children, Nicholas Esposito, Denise Esposito, and the late Lisa Esposito. Her nurturing spirit extended to her three grandchildren, Nicole Schiffler, Stephen McCloskey, and Seirra Esposito, as well as her two great-granddaughters and two great-grandsons.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Frank Gifford and Edmond Gifford, but is survived by her brother Ralph Gifford. Diane will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warm presence and ability to make everyone feel at ease made her a cherished figure in the lives of her family, friends, and neighbors.

Diane's journey began in Overbrook, to West Philadelphia then took her to Parkwood before settling in her permanent home on Levick Street. Throughout her life, she exuded grace and contentment, Always incredibly funny and brilliant, finding joy in the simple moments and treasuring the bonds of family above all else. She was a pillar of strength, a beacon of love, and a steadfast matriarch who leaves behind a legacy of kindness and resilience.

In honoring Diane Esposito's memory, let us remember her for the beautiful life she lived and the love she shared with all who knew her. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will forever remain a guiding light in our hearts. May she rest in peace, knowing she was deeply loved and will be dearly missed.  Relatives and friends are invited to gather for a time of remembrance on Wednesday March 27th from 12 noon to 1 PM at Slabinski Funeral Home 2614 Orthodox Street. Interment will be held privately.
