Bert Umberto Capecci

Bert Umberto Capecci passed away suddenly on July 13th, 2022, peacefully in his sleep. He was 71 years old, and was the son of Louie and Ann Capecci and was born on February 2nd, 1951.
Bert enjoyed the horsing game, owning and betting on them, playing craps at the casino, and golfing with his friends and family. Bert always was the life of the party and kept his whole family on their toes with his quick wit. After Bert graduated from Father Judge High School he married and became a union carpenter for over 30 years, working with one company his whole career, Anvil Construction.
His greatest passion was his love for his family. He is survived by his beautiful and patient wife of 53 years Vicki Capecci, his 2 children, Diane and Tony Capecci, and his absolute favorite, his grandson Michael Ierano. Bert was a devoted brother to Louis Capecci, John and Jayn Capecci and Frank and Eileen Capecci, brother in law of Caryn Bonner, brother of the late Michael and also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday July 22nd from 9:30 AM to 11 AM in St Jeromes Church 8100 Colfax Street. His funeral mass will begin at 11 AM and interment will be held privately.
